Congratz to both!!! This wedding was a very different but enjoyable one. Couples march in with Techno like music, wore unique gowns and had unique wedding photos. It was like a major gathering for family, friends and colleagues, atmosphere was filled with love and sincerity from everyone, unlike the usual stagnant wedding I used to attend. The family members, friends, bride and groom took turn to have speeches on stage. I was very touched by Darren’s mom speech, she made a promise to the Bride’s parent to love the bride as her own daughter and she is more than happy to welcome the bride to the family.
To be frank everyone says when a couple get married they become family to each other family. As a married woman, I guess many pple would agree “一家人”只是好听而已. When u feel nothing but an outsider during “family” gathering, oh well I guess tt is reality of the world. U rarely met 1 like Darren’s Mom who cried and say we will love our DIL like our daughter. She remind me of my granny becos of her magnanimous love.
My Granny loves everyone in the family equally, she doesnt judge, she doesnt 重男轻女, her love has no terms and conditions. She love her child’s friend like her own, she loves her grandchild’s friend like her own. She is well like and respected by everyone in the family and circles of our family’s friend.
Anyway my Best Wishes for the newly wed and wish them lots of baby dust.
PS: Im so happy I can still “squeeze” in my GG5 dress.
Initial plan was to go for a swim at clup4paw but Boy Boy and Cookie flunk the behaviour’s test. We change our plan and head for WCDR.
Oreo had a fun day running ard making friends. I guess with addition of Boy, she now know how to interact with other dogs better.
Boy got into a fight……. He was fine with cookie and some other dog. When this dog came and wanted to hump him, my Boy didnt gave face. This Oji-i-san, although is very old, but he is not a old dog tt can be bullied. When the dog try to hump him, he grabbed him in his mouth. Luckily he didnt bite, cos when we asked him to let loose, the dog didnt suffer any punctured holes. Nevertheless, I apologised, no matter whose fault it is.
He was fine with another owner and allow her to pat him. Haiz this Oji-i-san had been surviving well in the street for the past 10 years, he is just no those tamed domesticated dogs. Old dogs doesnt mean weak dogs.

过年嘛,家人,朋友和同事聚在一起谈谈天也是很快乐. 今年和往年一样大年初一到奶奶和外婆家和亲戚拜年. 见到外婆开朗多了我也为她高兴. 其实人不需要很多钱很有面子才开心. 想奶奶一样她只要儿孙平安,健康,大家在一起和睦相处,她就很开心. 希望外婆和奶奶一样往后的日子会更开心.
今年也到了JC家去,还去了两次!!! 第一次是去赌博和捞鱼生!!! 小赌宜情可不能大赌喔!!! 二十一点输了二十块!!! 捞鱼生也捞得很开心,大家忙着枪鱼片,捞鱼生时捞到地上都是. 第二次到她家去吃火锅和捞鱼生. 这次捞鱼生时BK说温柔一点. 哈哈!!! JC真的很不好意识到你家又吃又喝还把你家搞到乱七八糟.
终的来说今年过年还是开心的. 在这里也要祝福大家在新的一年,身体健康,万事如意,步步高升.
这是在外婆家拍的全家副,这次缺了大舅,大舅母和两位小表弟.
This year DND theme is Splash of Colours. In conjunction of our company logo, the main colours shall be BLUE and RED. Its pretty hard to match red and blue clothing.
Lately Channel 8 is showing Little Nyonya, their colourful costumes strike me. After asking around, I went to People Park Complex to take a look. Finally I found the shop that sell Peranakan clothing. The lady boss Hubby is a Babas and they do a lot of custom made Peranakan clothing.
I told her my theme, she show me 2 set of Baju Kebaya. First set was a dark red Kebaya and dark blue Sarong. Second set was a light blue Kebaya and red Sarong. I couldnt make up the decision becos both are equally gorgeous. Lady boss advise me to take the second set as light colours suit youngster more. She did show me a yellow Baju Kebaya, I fell in love at first sight. But I didnt get it as it didnt match my DND theme.
The Baju Kebaya is not cheap!!! This set cause me $148 and the Kerosang(brooch) cause me $35. The Lady boss explain that the Baju Kebaya is high end hand embroided. She made to measure the Sarong and altered the Kebaya for me.
A little embarrassing when she measured my waist and hip. She commented “Mei Mei your waist line (23 inch) is so slim and you have “big and full” backside (34.5inch). I was rather embarrass when she said that.
I didnt get the Kasut Manek becos, its not practical cos I wont be wearing it often. I match it with a red bling bling heels.
Yesterday, Cousin and ! went for A Mei Star Tour Concert. This is the best concert I ever went!!! Super High Concert!!! Everyone was singing and dancing with her thru the whole concert. Everyone was as high as her. Cousin and I clapped our hands until brusied. LOL!!!
When I sang along with her, it was so touching that my tears naturally row down my cheeks. 失恋的人我建议还是不要去看她的演唱会, 你会泪如雨下. Too Touching!!!
A Mei is really a superstar, her voice and her performance can be super high and super touching. Not many singer can do this!!!
This year we bought the second most expensive tickets, next year onward I’ll definetly buy the most expensive ticket. I swear I’ll make an effort to attend her concert whenever she is here to organise one.

I were too high too touched to take pictures. Basically cant tk very good pics as well, cos we were at the second level.
Last Sunday, Hubby and I went to Jalan Kayu to have the famous prata, nothing really that fantastic though and their service sux big time.
We head down to Bishan for prawn fishing, something we have been talking abt but never have the time to do it. Since we were in the area, we decided to give prawn fishing a try.
Both of us happily paid for the rod and started to fish, but we didnt know how to really fish the prawn. The family beside us was really friendly, they thought us the technique to fish the prawn. After 0.5hrs, both of us had our first catch.
Some prawns came with 2 long pincher, when we try to remove the hook from the prawn, their pincher will will pinch you and will not let go!!!! The family were friendly enough to help us as we basically have no tools.
Next time anyone wanna go for prawn fishing, pls bring the following:
- Own Bait (Cockles are the best but provided farm allow it)
- Small Pliers (To remove the hook from the stubborn prawn)
- Cutter (To cut away the prawn’s pincher)
- Paper Plate (Cos the farm we went didnt provide it)
- Styrofoam box (if you wanna bring the prawn back uncooked)
- Many Cash (Cos the farm we went only accept cash)

We fish abt 3 hrs and manage to fish 7 prawns.
$60 divide by 7 Prawns = These prawns are very expensive!!!
Im very crazy abt steamboat ever since Dad bought us to Sin Tian Di for dinner when Singapore won their 2nd Silver medal. Sin Tian Di Serve live prawns, fresh seafood and their drunken prawn are heavenly delicious!!!
Elyn, Hui Er and me went for dinner sometime back, even steamboat lover Hui Er praise the soup base are good. We met Dad and Mon when having dinner, my generous DAD paid for the dinner and I got to save my cab fare home!!!!

Last Week Melody, Alex, Hubby and Me went for the steamboat again. Nothing beat having dinner and catching up session with best friends. We talk, gossip and laugh thru the whole dinner until I forgotten to take picture…. >.<”‘ The advantage of bring ur hubby for dinner is, when you are busy talking, gossiping and laughing thru the whole dinner, your plates will alway be full of food. Not too sure how many wife out there have such privilege, when my hubby is around I nvr have to peel prawns.
My God Daughter had turn 1!!!!!! Her Mom, my besties, invited me to her bday bash!!!! Time really flies!!! I still remember she sms me that she just given birth when I was in Tioman. I bought her a mini “bicycle” as pressies. Im glad she love it. I also wish her alway pink in health. This little girl have been falling sick often.

Once again Disney On Ice is here in Singapore. Not every year they show Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
I dont come from a very well to do family, to be able to have 3 meals a day in the past wasnt easy. Not to mention such show are extravagant. My first Disney On Ice was paid by my Aunt. They bought me along together with their children. Im very blessed with Aunties and Uncles who love me like their own children, they extend their love to me and my siblings. This is my first self paid Disney On Ice show and this time round I bought 1 of my cousin along as well. Its a blessing to be able to give.
I met my mum, my youngest sis and cousin at Kallang Indoor Stadium. As I were early, I headed for my late lunch. I had Pastamania!!!
I ordered a 7 inch of Hawaiian Pizza complete with a garlic bread and drink.

I didnt really like the pineapple as it really too big. Mum say the pineapple are sweet and most probably are those canned pineapple.
